Fabdec is very grateful to have received a small equipment grant from the European Regional Development Fund.

As a market leader in the dairy equipment sector both home and abroad, Fabdec Ltd enjoyed another award-winning year in 2019 taking home the ‘International Growth Through Export’ prize at the Shropshire Business Awards. The company now exports to over 40 countries.

There was also significant capital investment, including the purchase of a fibre laser welding system which has increased the production capacity of heat exchange plates for brewery, milk cooling and heat recovery products. Furthermore, a solar photovoltaic system with 908 solar PV panels has been installed across the factory roof to generate renewable electricity and complement the LED lighting already installed across the premises.

A fully translated new website reflecting the company’s diverse range of products has been launched and plans are now in place to introduce a whole new business IT system to further support the efficiency and growth plans for the future.
