Freshwater Heat Collectors for Renewable Heating
Fabdec Group’s Energy Blades use the natural thermal energy in lakes, rivers and ponds to support ground source heat pump systems. By drawing from abundant freshwater energy, the system provides a renewable heat source for year-round heating while helping reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Installation is designed to be flexible. Units can stand on a solid base or be hidden beneath jetties, landing stages or bridges, with pipework discreetly landscaped where required. This makes Energy Blades suitable for homes, businesses, communities and organisations looking for a clean, reliable and future-proof heating solution.

Why Choose Energy Blades?
Energy Blades provide a practical way to use freshwater sources as part of a renewable heating system. By collecting thermal energy from lakes, rivers or ponds, the system can support heat pump performance while making use of an existing natural water source.
The stainless steel construction provides long-term durability in demanding submerged environments. This makes Energy Blades suitable for projects where reliability, corrosion resistance and low-maintenance heat collection are important.
With free-standing and mounted installation options, Energy Blades can be configured around the site layout. Standard four-plate assemblies are available, while bespoke sizes can be reviewed where a project requires a different arrangement.
