BRITANX, a division of the Fabdec Group, specializes in the in-house design and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel vessels for the food, beverage, and processing industries. Operating from a 65,000 sq ft facility in Shropshire, UK, BRITANX combines over 60 years of engineering expertise with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Their product range includes a variety of vessels tailored to specific industry needs. For breweries, BRITANX offers equipment such as Mash Tuns, Dual Purpose Vessels (DPVs), Brite Beer Tanks (BBTs), and Serving Tanks. These are designed to PD5500 standards and feature fully welded claddings with 85mm of injected polyurethane insulation. The incorporation of the UK’s only laser welding dimple plate machine allows for the in-house production of efficient heating and cooling jackets.
In the beverage sector, BRITANX supplies hygienic vessels for producers of soft drinks, mineral water, and kombucha. These vessels range from process storage to mixing types, all customized to client specifications. The distilling industry benefits from BRITANX’s capability to produce insulated or single-skin vessels suitable for mashing, fermentation, storage, and other applications.
