Friday, September 9, 2016
Manufacturer Fabdec is continuing its growth in the South West of England with the appointment of Grant Williams as technical sales agent.

Grant will be working in the south west of the country to develop the Fabdec brand within the HVAC and building services sectors, while maintaining key accounts and installers across the region.

West Midlands-based Fabdec is one of the UK’s leading heating and cooling manufacturers, providing water heating systems for commercial and domestic buildings. The company, which is headquartered in Ellesmere, Shropshire, and has more than 150 staff, has identified the South West as a key area for growth.

Grant, 54, from Chippenham in Wiltshire, has extensive experience in the domestic and commercial heating industry, as well as experience in building services being an accredited Part L SAP assessor. He has worked as an agent for 14 years for various manufacturing companies including British Gas, Worcester Heat Systems and Viessmann.

Grant said: “I’m looking forward to joining the team at Fabdec as it gives me the opportunity to open new doors with existing and new clients in the South West.

“I will be looking to create more contacts for the business across the region, connecting with consultants, architects, local authorities, housing associations and contractors to raise the profile of Fabdec in the area.”

One key product that Grant will be working with is the unique Excelsior I unvented water heating range, which Fabdec launched in 2015 and is patented with 3S Technology. The revolutionary 3S Technology is the first true self-sustaining cylinder, based on an internal expansion system that greatly reduces the need for maintenance and upkeep.

Grant said: “The unique feature within the Excelsior I range means it has the opportunity to greatly reduce the ongoing maintenance for both local authorities and housing associations and as such it has real advantages for both sectors.”

Chris Powell, Fabdec managing director, said: “We are very excited to have Grant on board to work with us as we expand in the South West. We see a lot of opportunities for Fabdec in the region and with Grant’s industry knowledge and network of contacts we are planning for sustainable long-term growth.”
